Conversione Autotune

Posseggo una versione 4 dell'autotune per pc già da 1 anno.
Posso fare qualcosa per istallarlo e utilizzarlo su logic con mac o è necessario comprare la versione per mac?

se è un originale credo che tu abbia l'installer per entrambe le piattaforme.... o altrimenti puoi aggiornarlo....

Il quad è veramente impressionante come prestazioni cpu.
In realtà io uso molto finalcut, motion e shake.Perciò mi servono prestazioni di veloce rendering e effetti in tempo reale.
Dovevo prendere il 2.7 ma voci apple mi hanno detto 3 mesi di aspettare...e poi ho capito perchè.. c'era in ballo questa nuova uscita che avrebbe spiazzato i vecchi processori...unico problema gli slot pci express perciò niente uad, niente pci powercore e ho dovuto prendermi una powercore firewire che in realtà va molto meglio.

fede informati bene, perchè sembra che alcune schede PCI possano essere montate senza problemi anche su PCI Express....

For those customers that are not certain, PCI-E is a new and completely different form factor to PCI and is not backwards compatible with any PCI cards. The UAD-1 will ONLY work in PCI and PCI-X slots.

Hi Federico,

PCI Express is a different physical and communication interface. PCI cards will not fit in PCI Express slots. You will not be able to use your PowerCore Elements in PCI Express slots. PCI based PowerCore devices (Element, PCI, PCI mkII and Unplugged) require either PCI or PCI-X slots.

If you have the Quad G5 you should consider either PowerCore Compact or PowerCore FireWire.

comunque mortacci loro, quei slot esterni, costano un botto!!!!!!
fai prima a rivendere la tua UAD (che te la compro io) e comprare quella express compatibile, appena esce....
